Sidebar widget to show (upcoming and previous) events.

Screenshots

Create page or post and specify event date.
Add Simple Events Widget to the sidebar.
See desired events within the sidebar.

Installation

Upload smntcs-simple-events-widget to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
Go to post or page and provide a start date of the event.
If wanted, also provide an end date of the event.
Go to Customize » Widgets, add the Simple Events Widget to the required sidebar.
Adjust the widget settings according to you needs.
