There’s 3 ways to install this plugin:

1. The super easy way

  1. In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add
  2. Search for Documentor Lite
  3. Click to install
  4. Activate the plugin
  5. A new menu Documentor will appear in your Admin

2. The easy way

  1. Download the plugin (.zip file) on the right column of this page
  2. In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add
  3. Select the tab “Upload”
  4. Upload the .zip file you just downloaded
  5. Activate the plugin
  6. A new menu will appear in your Admin

3. The old way (FTP)

  1. Upload documentor-lite folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. A new menu will appear in your Admin

we bought the pro version and initially got mixed support, now after emailing, leaving messages on the website, opening multiple tickets, there is absolutely no response. Sadly we have moved our entire documentation with these guys and are stuck now. So if you value your time and money wise it costs nothing for this plugin PLEASE DONT USE THIS PLUGIN!! I don't even feel like clicking 1 star for these guys 🙁 looking at other reviews I can see that they are not bothered to even improve from the reviews.

I am using Documentor from a couple of months. The best part of Documentor that I liked is that the plugin is very easy to use. Especially, the drag and drop features allow you to rearrange the sections. It is also WPML compatible so there is no barrier of languages. I don't know why there was no proper support before. As WordPress came with some new updates I was worried about the working of the documentor. But everything is working fine. Now they have a full 24*7 support. I guess they might have come with a new team as I am getting proper support from them. Thanks a lot for such an amazing plugin.

The paid for version works as advertised. However, zero support. Want to re-download your purchase? Nope. Want to ask a technical question: forget it. Avoid this plugin like the plague.

I tried to give this plugin a fair shot and sent multiple tickets to support. No response. If you try to configure your document, child menus end up flipped upside-down. The PDF function doesn't work, either. I've been trying to contact Sanjeev Mishra and his "marketing firm" Staenz for a refund and have received no reply. Please don't bother with this plugin/developer.

I've downloaded this plugin to test it and to buy the pro version later. The plugin works, no doubt, but there's absolutely no support at all. I've sent two emails to the developer, the first one asking a question about translation and the second one to bump the first one. None of them has never received a reply. So I'll surely won't buy the pro version and instead I'll buy another similar plugin found on codecanyon where the developer replied very fast. I'm asking myself where's the meaning to create a free version of a plugin and never give any support hoping that someone will buy the pro version. If I don't receive any support at all for the free version, and this isn't written anywhere, why I should buy the pro one with the risk that the developer will not give me any support also for this version? If you check the support forum here you'll see for yourself... Don't download this plugin.
