Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/or install via the WordPress Plugin Directory. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Go to Smart Modal in the WordPress admin sidebar (or under Appearance, if selected) to configure settings.
- Customize your welcome sentence, appearance, animation, and layout as desired.
- Save changes. The modal will appear on the front-end according to your settings.

How do I change the welcome message?

Go to Smart Modal settings in your WordPress admin. Enter your desired sentence in the “Sentence” field.

Can I change the animation direction and speed?

Yes. In the settings, choose your preferred animation direction and set delays for word animation and modal closing.

Yes. Font sizes and spacing can be set separately for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Custom Smart Modal is fully compatible with TranslatePress. The sentence is output in a way that allows TranslatePress to detect and translate it.
