This plugin could use for upload a single image to media and display on frontend by using a image upload widget.

Installation

Upload the boxer-image-Upload folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress. After activation, you should see a widget in appearence -> widgets menu.
Add Image Upload widget to any of the sidebar, upload image and set its other attribute if needed.
