No coding or design skills are required to embed Amelia into your website. It is easy to customize booking forms to your branding and start accepting bookings professionally while sending confirmations and avoiding double bookings. Configuring Amelia to receive your first appointment through WordPress is a 5-minute job.

3 easy steps to set up Amelia Lite:

  1. Go to your WordPress’ admin page, open Amelia -> Services, and add categories and services, as described here.

  2. Add a shortcode for the desired booking form to one of your posts or pages. For appointments, add [ameliabooking] shortcode, for events add [ameliaevents].

  3. Save it – and that’s it – now customers can book appointments or events from your site’s front-end using Amelia!

Note: You can customize provider details and schedule on the General Settings page.

Important note:  Online payments, integrations, unlimited number of employees, custom notification, multilingual support, and other features are not available in Amelia Lite. Installation

Installing Amelia Lite is as easy as 1-2-3!

  • First, either locate the plugin through the WordPress’ built-in plugins browser, upload the ZIP file through WP Admin, or upload the Amelia Lite folder via FTP to your WordPress’ plugins folder on the server.
  • Activate the plugin in the “Plugins” page of your WordPress installation.
  • Enjoy!

It wasn't clear before purchase that Amelia has its own user list which doesn't link in any way to the WordPress user list, which makes it fundamentally broken. I want my logged in users to book events and manage their booked events on pages that guests cannot see, but before booking an event they have to enter a new (Amelia specific) set of credentials, and to manage their events, they have to login AGAIN with that different set of (Amelia specific) credentials. Only get this plugin if you will never use any features of WordPress beyond what Amelia provides. I've requested a refund.

We have been working with Amelia for a long time. The tool is continuously being developed further, which is not always typical for the industry in terms of speed. It can be wonderfully adapted to the respective style and preferences of websites. No rigid construct of design, font and colour as with alternative products. The best thing at the end, the support. Very competent, friendly and always goal-oriented are the hallmarks of the support! We love this software and are happy about every further development. Keep it up, you are great!

Any time I've encountered something I wasn't able to figure out myself, their team quickly responds with step by step instructions or troubleshooting. Feature requests are thoughtfully considered and Amelia is constantly improving features.
